Applications
DBTDL is an organotin product mainly used as a catalyst in the production of polyurethane foams, used as insulation in the building industry (roofs and walls) and for tank and tube insulation. It is also used as a catalyst in the vulcanizing cure of silicones at room temperatures. This silicone rubber is also used for artistic moulds, dental prosthesis, encapsulating of electronic equipment and nonadhesive paper coatings
